Peter are you there?
I’ve recently read a blog from Max Limpag, post is titled Ghost in the machine. The post is about a website apparently named Peter Answers. This site lets user ask question to Peter and he will provide an answer. I was laughing out my brains when I tried out the trick. Basically the site is a prank tool, which uses a very cool trick to fool the audience.
Here are the steps on how to effectively fool your friends:
Basically you need to type a petition, before you ask a question. There are two types of petition sentence accepted:
Peter, please answer the following question:
Peter, please answer:
This sentence should be typed in on the “Insert Petition” box, after typing the last character which is “:” (colon symbol), the question box will be enabled. You need to type the question on the box below the petition box, ending the question with a question mark “?” will trigger Peter to answer the question.
Normally if you do the above instruction you will have a non-sense answer everytime, the trick is on the petition box, when typing on the petition box there is a secret way to type in the actual answer you want peter to say, for example you and your friends are thinking of the question “What is the name of the person standing in front of me now?”, during the time of typing the petition sentence type in “.” (period symbol), this will trigger the petition letter to be displayed one by one as you type in different letters which is composed of your actual answer secretly on your unsuspecting friends. When you are finished typing the answer, you can end it by typing again “.” (period symbol) to go back to normal typing. And after you type the question, guess what…your secret answer is revealed blowing out the brains of your unsuspecting friends…HAHAHA!!!!
