I believe that Dattebayo has been trolled. As your theories of a guy slapping an ABS-CBN sign on the video, that might actually be true. If you look at this link (www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOZc_5Hptus) you will notice that the video has been removed by the “USER”, not by youtube.com. Maybe because he felt like he’s done his job of pissing people off, and now it’s causing havoc, so he took it to himself and took it out. Or maybe because he was ordered by someone to take it off. Of course it’s not youtube who told him to do that, since they could’ve taken it out themselves.

Also, as far as I know, Filipino Animes are really far behind compare to what you’re downloading and watching. They haven’t even reached Shippuden episodes. Hell, they even barely finished the regular episode because it’s too damn long. And Episode 26 of Shippuden? Come on.

Even if my deductions are wrong, I still believe that Dattebayo has been trolled. For I don’t see a reason why they would bash on Filipino race in such a manner. Also, I don’t see a reason why ABS-CBN would download an episode, dub/sub it, then air it when they know they’ll get in trouble for it. Troll or not, this is really sad. It brings the human race a million years back of stupidity.

and, my guess is that someone tweaked with the sippuden opening and put abs-cbn’s logo, posted it on youtube. someone told dattebayo and dattebayo reacted.. ehehe, they got fooled so i guess that’s why they used that stupid article to get back at us. they did well cause it really hits,

and why am i not finding abs-cbn’s reply to all of this?

1.) Some dude makes an intro on youtube using dattebayo fansub of naruto and slapping the abs-cbn crap on it.

2.) Either a self-loathing filipino (hypocrite) or a non-filipino tells Dattebayo about the thing.

3.) Dattebayo sees it tries to take a neutral stance or maybe just a “harmless jab” (no offense intended) at the video by doing the “LOL@Filipino TV”

4.) Overly-sensitive and brash Filipinos take the message as a racist attack and start to spam Dattebayo.

5.) Being Spammed isn’t fun especially if you’ve got multiple channels of communication open to the public (mirc, email, youtube, forums) and assclowns are trying to attack you with messages that have no intelligence at all. Dattebayo is pissed and uses that “Apology” to get back at said assclowns.

If you think im exaggerating about the “Overly-sensitive and brash Filipinos” well Im not. Remember Art Bell? You’ve probably heard of him from a well circulated email from your fellow Filipinos. Basically the email casts him as racist and critical of the “Filipino Race”. Well the email is pure BS. He married a Filipina and is broadcasting his popular US radio show in the Philippines. Come to think of it most of that anonymous coward letter sounds very similar to that “Filipinos make me puke” letter allegedly from Art Bell. I wouldn’t be surprised if a Filipino wrote that “Filipinos make me puke” letter and put Art Bell’s name on it just so he can get back at Art Bell.

Even though the letter was allegedly a hoax, it is still not a reason to use for joking around.

2. Now the issue just became serious when Dattebayo didn’t even try to see whether if that video posted on youtube was really true. Reacting immediately (posting LOL@FilTV) [Email address: LOL #AT# FilTV) - replace #AT# with @ ] and then later on deciding to apologize to settle the issue.

3. They apologize (yeah, right! crap!) but as you could see at there press release here: http://www.dattebayo.com/pr/43 the references they use under About Philippines was a SPAM or rather hate letter from someone known as Art Bell. (What a shame on that group! DATTEBAYO… didn’t even try to get the real facts before posting there articles… DB = Don’t Believe… what a bunch of gullible members!)

I agree with the ABS-CBN apology, but I will never admit that I would deserve that link about Philippines linked up by Dattebayo. (shame on you!)
